I received the greatest compliment when my Alzheimer’s doctors said “I wish all my patients were like you”.
Like Rocky Balboa, I may be down, but I am definitely not out. I will regain my strength and come back fighting again against Alzheimers.
What’s more important…..the possessions you have or the experiences you have had?
I got a punch in the gut from my doctor. My doctor is encouraging me to reevaluate my priorities. She is right.
Please think before you criticize someone with Alzheimer’s dementia. We probably are doing the best we can do!
